Salary, EMIs and fixed costs month by month — and what that adds up to over a year.
The Expense Tracker shows where your salary goes, month by month. Put in your income, your loan EMIs with how many months each has left, your fixed costs like rent and insurance, and any SIPs - and it shows what is left over and your savings rate for every month.
You do not retype the same rows every month: each new month starts from the last one you saved, with every loan's remaining months moved on and any loan that has finished dropped off. A one-year forecast then shows what the next twelve months look like - including how much each loan ending frees up.
Your figures are private: they are saved against your Google account, and nobody else can see them.
Income minus EMIs minus expenses, divided by income. On a ₹60,000 salary with ₹15,000 of EMIs and ₹25,000 of expenses, ₹20,000 is left - a savings rate of 33%.
So it can move each loan on by itself every month and drop it when it is paid off - and show in the forecast exactly when that EMI stops and how much money it hands back to you.
No. A new month starts as a copy of the last month you saved, with loans moved on a month. You change only what changed - a bonus, a new expense, a loan that ended.
The next twelve months worked out from the month on screen, assuming nothing changes except loans ending on schedule. It is a projection, shown separately from the months you actually recorded.
Yes. Your income and expenses are saved against your Google account and only you can see them. You can delete a month at any time.
