About BPS Edge
Free tools and plain-language guides for markets, money and code.
What we do
BPS Edge is a free website that brings together three things in one place: tools for share market traders, calculators and guides for personal finance in India, and developer tools and tutorials. Each section works like a site of its own, so you only see what is relevant to you.
Our three sections
- Share Market
- Scanners, market regime and trading guides for NSE stocks. Built for swing traders who want rules, not tips. Tools available today: Index 500 Breakout Scanner, F&O Scanner, Market Regime, Position Size Calculator, Watchlist, Trade Tracker.
- Finance
- An expenses tracker and plain-language guides for Indian personal finance - saving, tax, loans and long-term investing, with calculators on the way. Tools available today: Expenses Tracker.
- Technology
- Free developer tools - a JSON formatter and converters, an ATS resume builder - with tech interview prep and career articles. Tools available today: ATS Resume Builder, JSON Formatter.
What we believe in
- Free and open. Every tool and article is free, and most need no sign-in.
- Show the working. Scanners explain why a stock appears, calculators show the formula, and nothing is a black box.
- Privacy first. We collect as little as possible, never sell data, and tools like the JSON Formatter run entirely in your browser.
- Education, not tips. We explain how markets and money work so you can decide for yourself. We never give buy or sell calls.
Who runs it
BPS Edge is built and run by Bhanu Pratap Singh, an independent developer based in India. The site started as a set of tools for personal use - a breakout scanner, a trade journal, an expense tracker - and grew into a public site so others could use them too.
How the site is funded
BPS Edge is free to use and is supported by advertising from Google AdSense. Ads never decide what we write or which stocks a scanner shows. See our Privacy Policy for how ads use cookies.
Accuracy and corrections
We check our articles and calculators carefully and update them when rules change. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will fix it. Everything here is educational - please read the Disclaimer.
