F&O Analysis

The same analysis over the derivatives universe: every stock with listed futures and options, with each contract’s lot size and what one lot costs.

About the F&O Analysis

The F&O Scanner runs the same breakout and reversal analysis over every stock that has futures and options on the NSE - around 200 names. Alongside each setup it shows the lot size and what one lot costs at the current price, which is the number an F&O trader needs before anything else.

How to use it

  1. 1Open the scanner and start a scan of the F&O universe.
  2. 2Sort or filter by sector, pattern, RSI or volume to narrow the list.
  3. 3Open a stock to see its pattern, support and resistance levels and setup checklist, with the lot size and contract value.
  4. 4Confirm the market regime and size the position before trading derivatives.

Frequently asked questions

Which stocks are included?

Every stock with listed futures and options on the NSE, taken from the exchange's own contract file. Index contracts such as NIFTY and BANKNIFTY are left out, because the scanner analyses individual companies.

Where do lot sizes come from?

From the NSE market-lots file. If it cannot be reached, the scanner uses a bundled list of F&O stocks and says so.

Is this suitable for options trading advice?

No. It analyses the underlying stock's chart only. Derivatives carry high risk and you can lose more than you invest.
